My name is Alaa. I live near Cologne in Germany, where I love to dream up images and play with colours. I have a background in graphic design but am an illustrator and artist at heart.

My style has a touch of classic nostalgia, marrying scientific illustration to the whimsical world. I believe that imagination and nature are our much needed escapes from the daily busy-ness and I hope to provide a vehicle for that in my work.
